I bought tickets from elsewhere for my family's July trip to Disney and I am wondering if I can trade the tickets for magic wristbands somehow? It would be more convenient that way. Thanks!

    Hi Ivari!

MagicBands can certainly make a Walt Disney World vacation easier!  MagicBands are complimentary for anyone staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, so if you have a room reservation, every Guest in your room will receive a MagicBand.  Your MagicBands will act as your room key, ticket gate entry, FastPass+ attraction entry, easy PhotoPass linking and as your room charging if you'd like

If you are not staying on-property, you do have the option of purchasing MagicBands.  They will still act as your ticket gate entry, FastPass+ attraction entry and PhotoPass linking.  We are Passholders and often visit for day trips and being able to put on our MagicBand and not have to worry about finding our tickets each time.

MagicBands can be purchased in advance from The Disney Store online, the Shop Disney Parks mobile app or in person at any Walt Disney World theme park or Resort.  Linking them to your tickets is super simple.  Each MagicBand has a unique ID on the back.  You'll enter this ID number under "MagicBands and Cards" in your My Disney Experience account and assign it to a Guest.  Once they have been assigned, you're ready to play!

    Have a magical day!
