I bought tickets during the week of March 15th. I now see it is grayed out. My brother, who lives in Florida, was going to join us. Is it possible to still get him a ticket?

Hi there Kelly, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question. I'm happy to assist you today.

This month has been exciting in the Walt Disney World Resort! I think everyone feels like Rapunzel leaving her tower for the first time and is ready to have the best day EVER in the Disney Parks. The Availability Calendar is currently showing that all four theme parks are booked for the next several days. I encourage your brother to continue checking for openings; as Guests' plans evolve there is always a chance that availability will show.

If he doesn't have any luck, I do have some ideas for you to spend time together. Consider meeting up at Disney Springs for shopping or dining or making an Advanced Dining Reservation at a Resort Hotel. The weather in Florida is fantastic this time of year, and the outdoor spaces are great places to walk around and enjoy the atmosphere and theming. If you can secure a reservation, a few of my favorite Resort Hotel restaurants that frequently have last-minute availability are Olivia's Cafe at Disney's Old Key West Resort, the Grand Floridian Café at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and The Wave...of American Flavors at Disney's Contemporary Resort

Another idea is to spend a day at Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park. Disney is monitoring capacity here, but at this time you do not need a reservation to visit. Tickets are available ahead of time or at the gate upon arrival. The relaxed pace and opportunities for lounging at this water park make for a great place to connect with friends and family. The melting ski slopes here are the perfect combination of your Colorado roots and his Floridian home!

I hope this is helpful and gives you some ideas for how to spend some time in Walt Disney World without a Disney Park Pass reservation. I will keep my fingers crossed for some pixie dust and theme park availability, but if it doesn't work out, there are still opportunities for fun. Thanks again for stopping by, and we'll see ya real soon!
