You’re going to have such a great time, Robert. My family stays at Shades of Green frequently. We love the proximity to Magic Kingdom and the gorgeous grounds. It’s a real value for eligible Guests!
You are correct in that, currently, Guests must have both valid tickets and a reservation to visit any of the Walt Disney World theme parks. Those theme park reservations are made online. Have you created a
My Disney Experience account? You’ll need to start there. Make sure that your 5-Day Park Hopper tickets are properly linked to your account. And then you can visit the
Disney Park Pass reservation system to schedule your park days.
Once you’ve done that, it will be time to get an itinerary settled on and start making your
dining reservations (as soon as possible, up to 60 days in advance of your trip). It’s a good idea to make reservations for meals in the park where you have a reservation. Alternatively, you can eat at Disney Springs. Some of my favorite options there include
The Polite Pig (which doesn’t accept reservations) and
The BOATHOUSE. You might also consider booking a dining reservation in one of the resort hotels.
We’re always here to help if you need additional tips as you progress in your planning, Robert. I’m sending pixie-dusted wishes for an amazing vacation your way!
