I bought tickets to Disneyland, but my family now wants to go to California Adventure to on the same day, I already have reservations for Disneyland can I upgrade the tickets to park hoppers ?

Hi there, Sindy! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!

I think your family has the right idea! Since Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park are so close together, it makes park hopping incredibly easy. In fact, whenever I visit, I park hop every day of my stay. You can absolutely upgrade your one park per day ticket to the Park Hopper option. Simply stop by a ticket booth when you arrive to complete the transaction. You will start your day in Disneyland Park and then at 1:00 p.m., you can hop over to Disney California Adventure Park. You can even hop back and forth the rest of the day if you wish.

Have you read up on the new Disney Genie service that will be debuting soon? Disney Genie is a complimentary digital feature in the Disneyland app that will create customized park-touring plans based on your interests. You'll also be able to purchase Disney Genie+ which will allow to select the next available return time for an attraction, and then skip most of the wait by using the Lightning Lane. If you ever used Disney MaxPass in the past, this service will work quite similarly.

I hope you and your family have a magical time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
