I bought tickets for Disney World and Covid closed the park. Then the Army moved me to Washington. Can I use my unused tickets at Disney Land instead?

    Greetings, Jeremiah!

Hello to you and your family. As a military spouse myself, I would like to begin with a huge “Thank You!”, from my family to yours. We too had a recent move and almost the opposite of yours. We are now closer to Walt Disney World Resort, but that’s not going to stop us from visiting both parks over the next year.

Unfortunately, theme park tickets don’t cross over from Walt Disney World Resort to Disneyland Resort or vice versa. The good news is, as an eligible service member, you can purchase up to 6 military promotional tickets to both Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort each year the offer is available.

Jeremiah, keep in mind that in order to take advantage of the military offer, you will have to purchase your tickets at your local military ticketing office. Don’t wait too long, you will also need to link your tickets to your Disney account so that you can schedule your theme park reservations as well!

Have a great trip and once again, thank you for all your family does!

Meet the Panelist: Shantel, Alabama

Hi ya Pals! I'm Shantel, an Army wife and mom of two. I grew up going to the parks, and now we're sharing that tradition with our kids. When I am not visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, I'm at home researching and planning for our next trip. One of my favorite things to do is search for new snacks to try, especially if they are Mickey shaped. I'm definitely living the dream my heart wished for! I cannot wait to answer your questions and help make your vacation even more magical!
