Bought tickets to Disney After hours MK. We will be in that park for most of day. What do I need to do? Do I have to leave to check in ? Check in before I go into the park? Is it on my magic band? Thanks

Hello Stacey, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

I am so excited for you to experience Disney After Hours at the Magic Kingdom! I realize that you will be in the Magic Kingdom earlier in the day, but you will have a truly magical time that night. Not only will you experience little to no wait time during the event but you will receive complimentary popcorn, ice cream, and select beverages throughout various treat stations in the park.

You will not be able to check-in for the event when you arrive earlier in the day. However, guests who only hold tickets for the event can begin to enter the park as early as 7:00 PM. At that time those guests will be able to check-in as they enter the park. There will also be similar check-in stations inside the park too. Check with a Cast Member when you arrive to find out the location. In the past, there is usually a station located near City Hall, near the bottom of Main Street U.S.A. The Cast Member will scan your MagicBand to verify your ticket and then you will receive your credentials, usually a lanyard or wristband that will let Cast Members know that you are attending the event and permitted to remain in the park after regular closing hours. You will have an amazing time during the event.

    See ya real soon,
    Andrea
