Hi McKenna!
You are getting ready for a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation with your dad and you're going to have a great time enjoying Walt Disney World Resort together! My parents came with us on our last family vacation and it was so much fun enjoying the theme parks with multiple generations. Be sure to consider adding
Memory Maker to your trip so you can capture all of the magical family moments you experience together.
I'm sorry to hear that your dad will only be able to join you for some of your time in the theme parks, but I'm sure that you will make the most of the time you have together!
Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets expire 14 days after their first use unless they were purchased before 2004 and included the No Expiration Option. So, unfortunately, you most likely won't be able to save your father's unused ticket days for next year.
While
Annual Passes are temporarily unavailable, if they do return before your trip, you have the option of upgrading your dad's ticket to an Annual Pass, which will allow him to visit Walt Disney World Resort for an entire year. I have found that if I visit twice within 12 months then an Annual Pass is a worthwhile investment because it allows me to take advantage of Passholder discounts on merchandise and dining during both of my trips. I recommend that you keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for announcements about the return of Annual Passes, as well as other news about the magic you will be able to enjoy during your vacation!
Let us know if we can help you again as you continue planning. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
