Hey there, Lisa, and welcome to planDisney! Olaf said it best in Frozen II: “things have been doing nothing but changing.” Do you think Olaf had any insight into the last few years!? He was quite wise beyond his years. It sounds like even though your plans have changed, a Walt Disney World Vacation is still in your future! That’s the goal because we could all use a vacation right about now!
According to Walt Disney World’s Ticket Usage Guidelines, you have 7-days from your selected start date to use your 4-day Theme Park Tickets before they expire. For example, with your start date of May 6th, your Theme Park Tickets are valid for use on any 4-days until May 12th. If your change of plans requires you to move your vacation date out of this window, I recommend editing your Theme Park Ticket start date. However, please note that changing your Theme Park Ticket start date may require you to pay the difference in price as Walt Disney World uses a date-based pricing model.
You can change the dates on your Theme Park Tickets in your
My Disney Experience account. After you successfully log in to your account, select the Theme Park Tickets that you would like to modify and choose “Change Ticket”. You will then have the option to edit your ticket dates. If your new dates are more expensive, you will be prompted to pay the additional amount as you process your date change. If you run into any trouble changing your ticket dates, you can reach out to an Existing Tickets Cast Member at (407) 934-7639 for further assistance. Be sure to modify your
Disney Park Pass Reservations after you select your new arrival date. I also recommend reviewing the
Theme Park Availability Calendar before finalizing your dates. We want to make sure there is availability for your desired vacation dates!
I hope this helps, Lisa! Your Walt Disney World vacation is calling!
Until Next TIme,
PG
