Hiya, Nancy!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question - I'm happy to help.
I'm excited to hear you're planning to add some more magic to your visit by adding extra days to your
Theme Park Tickets. There's so much to see and do on a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, and now you'll have more time to make memories with your travel party!
Adding days to your tickets is a fairly easy process, and there are two ways to get it done:
1) On the official
Walt Disney World Resort website, first, sign into your
My Disney Experience account. Select "My Plans" under the My Disney Experience tab. You'll then be able to access your Plans and Tickets. On this page, you'll see all of the members of your Planning Party. Directly under that, it should say "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets". From this screen, you'll choose "Tickets and Memory Maker", and should be able to see all of the tickets associated with your account. Under each ticket, you should have the option to "Change Ticket". You'll have the option to change the Valid Ticket Dates, Number of Days, and/or Ticket Type. When you select "Number of Days", you'll see prices which show the total cost to change the number of days on the ticket being modified. Once you choose the two-day option, you'll be taken to the Check Out screen, where you can pay the balance.
2) You'll follow pretty much the same process if you choose to use the
My Disney Experience mobile app to upgrade the tickets. First, you'll need to choose the Menu option in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. Select the "Tickets and Passes" icon. You'll be taken to a list of the theme park tickets associated with your account. Select the tickets you'd like to upgrade, and you'll see an option to "Change Ticket". You'll then follow the steps above to add the extra day to your tickets.
I hope this helps with your planning! Please come back and visit us here at planDisney with any other questions you have before your trip. We love sharing tips and advice to help add a bit of extra pixie dust to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation.
