Nichole from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I bought my tickets for a day that the calendar said was open for DCA, and I go to reserve and it said it's reached it's limit for that ticket. Do I reserve another day? If the other days cheaper do I get the difference back?

Hello there, Nichole! Welcome to planDisney. We are excited to hear you will be visiting Disneyland Resort soon.

You've brought us a great question about tickets and theme park ticket reservations. The error message you are getting saying your ticket has reached its limit actually means that the ticket already has a theme park ticket reservation for each day on the ticket. This means you are good to go! When you purchase your tickets from the Disneyland website or Disneyland app, you choose your dates and parks and it makes a theme park ticket reservation for you. You can log in to the Disneyland website, head to the Ticket and Reservation Details page, and follow the prompts to double-check you have reservations for the date you want.  Should your plans change, you can modify or cancel your reservations and book new ones. You will not get the difference back if you choose to make a new reservation for a date that shows a cheaper price.

Disney California Adventure Park will be such a fun day for you. My favorite place to take a midday break is Lamplight Lounge. If you don't get reservations for this in advance, don't worry. A lot of times I am able to still get a table by putting my name on the list with a Cast Member at the entrance. There is also Lamplight Lounge - Boardwalk Dining available on the top floor that does not take advance reservations. Once you are in the parks you will be able to make these reservations in the Disneyland app by joining the Walk-Up List

Nichole, thanks so much for stopping by!  We hope you have a magical visit!

Meet the Panelist: Carrie, California

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
