Hiya Edemilton!
Thank you for sending us your question to planDisney! Wow, Edemilton, can you believe that you will be at the Walt Disney World Resort with your family in less than a month, soaking in all the magic? You have picked an especially magical time to visit with the
World's Most Magical Celebration in full swing. I cannot wait for you and your family to make magical memories that will last a lifetime, and I am honoured to be a part of your planning journey!
Unfortunately, when it comes to Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets,
they cannot be cancelled and refunded. However, the good news is that if another member of your family wants to come and visit, you can link the extra ticket to their
My Disney Experience profile. You can also change the date of your tickets to another time this year if your grandson would like to come and visit again. Simply log into your My Disney Experience account and click on "My Plans" under the "My Disney Experience" tab. Then, click on "Tickets & Memory Maker," and you should be able to see the theme park tickets you have purchased. By clicking on "Change Tickets," you will be able to change the date of your ticket so that it may be used later this year. In addition, should the ticket expire, you can
use the price of the ticket as a credit and apply it to the purchase of another ticket of equal or higher value. To use your tickets as a credit or for further assistance with your reservations, I suggest
reaching out to a Cast Member via chat, email or phone. Cast Members truly are real-life fairy godparents and will be able to help you with your extra ticket.
Once you are all set with your tickets and theme park reservations, make sure to plan some time to stop by Magic Kingdom Park to experience all the 50th-anniversary EARidescent magic! First, stop by Cinderella Castle to watch the brand new show
Mickey's Magical Friendship Faire featuring Mickey and his friends. Then, grab a snack and relax on Main Street USA or in Frontierland near Country Bear Jamboree (my favourite spot) to watch
Disney's Festival of Fantasy Parade. For dinner, be sure to try one of the many 50th-anniversary food options available throughout the Magic Kingdom, and close out the night watching
Disney Enchantment. This nighttime spectacular includes so many of your favourite songs and characters, but it also includes impressive projections that you have never seen before at the Walt Disney World Resort!
I hope this was helpful, Edemilton, and that you and your family will have the most magical, memorable visit on your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation! If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your visit, please don't hesitate to reach out. You're as welcome as can be!
Have a magical day,
Ariane
