    I bought tickets a couple weeks ago and have an email with a confirmation number. How do I link those tickets to the disney app without an"ID" number?

    Hello Ryan, and welcome to planDisney with a great question.

    I see you are doing the single-digit dance until the start of your Disney vacation! I would be happy to help you put the finishing touches on your plans.

    To link your tickets to your My Disney Experience mobile app, open the app and tap the more icon (3 horizontal lines) in the lower right corner. Select the “Tickets and Passes” option from the menu. Tap the “+” sign in the top right corner and select “Link Tickets and Passes." Enter your Confirmation number in the line where it is asking for an ID number and submit. This should bring up all the tickets associated with your purchase. You can assign each member of your party a ticket and confirm your choices. This will link your tickets to their designated owners.

    Now that you have just linked your tickets, you need to make your Disney Park Pass reservations for each park you plan to visit during your trip. Theme Park capacity is limited in all 3 parks, and a reservation is required in addition to your ticket for admittance. You can make your Disney Park Pass reservation in the My Disney Experience mobile app. Simply, tap the “+” sign in the bottom center of the screen and select the “Make a Park Reservation” button. Select the “Theme Park Tickets” button and then create your party by selecting everyone who will be visiting the park and tap continue. Select your date and then choose the theme park. Continue with the prompts to confirm. Repeat for each day that you have tickets to complete your reservation for each park.

    You can access your tickets and park pass reservations at the Main Entrance gates by using a MagicBand or Disney MobileMagic using your smartphone, or Apple Watch device. You can set up your pass by going back to the menu with your Tickets and Passes. Select Disney MagicMobile and tap the “+” sign to create passes for Guests in your travel party. Select their names and then add the passes to your Apple Wallet or Google Pay. You will use these passes to enter theme parks and redeem Genie+ selections at Lightning Lane entrances.
