Hello there, Ashmy. Thank you for bringing your question to us at planDisney.
Oh Ashmy, I'm so sorry to hear this and can certainly understand that visiting the
Disneyland Resort right now might not make the best sense for you. Once purchased, tickets are nonrefundable, however there's no need to worry as there is a bit of flexibility. You are able to cancel your existing theme park reservation and rebook for another day that works for you before the ticket expires. To cancel your existing reservation, you will log into your Disney account and go to "My Plans" under the heading "My Disneyland" towards the top right. You will click on "Manage Reservation" for the appropriate day and then "Cancel Reservation."
Also, you don't need to feel rushed to use your tickets. Even if your tickets expire,
the original value of the wholly unused ticket can be applied toward the purchase of a new theme park ticket (as long as your original ticket is not a special event ticket) at the current price as long as the new ticket purchase price is greater than or equal to the amount paid for the original ticket.
So take your time and when you feel ready, the magic of the parks will be waiting to greet you with open arms. You can bring along a friend to have a fun carefree day, or even use the extra ticket for yourself for another day of magic.
Tickets cannot be sold or exchanged for goods, services or benefits, however, a wholly unused ticket can be transferred to someone else.
Ashmy, I hope this was helpful. If there's anything else we can help answer, please come back to visit us.
Michelle
