Hiya Mario - welcome back to
planDisney!
I’m sorry to hEAR that you weren’t able to enjoy a Walt Disney World Resort trip back in September, but it sounds like you’re ready now, and that’s great!
Mario, the great news is that the amount paid for a
Theme Park Ticket that is unused may be applied to the purchase of a new ticket of equal or greater value. I know some Guests can be confused about the need to purchase a new ticket, rather than just being able to use their existing unused ticket. The reason you’ll need to purchase a
new ticket is that pricing is dynamic, and you’ll need to pay the price listed for the tickets on the new date you wish to visit the Theme Parks – this may be different than the price for the days you originally bought your tickets for.
I recommend
calling and speaking to a Cast Member from the Existing Tickets team to learn more about your options and to make your new plans. If your tickets were part of a vacation package (i.e., including a stay at a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel) you may have some additional loose ends to tie up and they can help. Mario, make sure that when you purchase your new tickets that you also make your
Park Pass Reservations for the Theme Park(s) you want to visit!
Before I forget ... if your upcoming visit will take you to
EPCOT, be sure to check out my favorite new attraction –
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind – it’s a blast!
