Hiya, Jennifer!
Oh boy! I like the way you think! Planning ahead for your Disneyland Resort vacation is a great idea. You've got your Disney eTickets in hand and the
Disneyland app downloaded. You're almost set! At this point, you betcha, go ahead and link your park tickets into the Disneyland app. When you arrive at the main entrance to either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park, you can show your ticket at the turnstile using your mobile device. I still recommend taking your paper copies, just in case of any technical issues with battery or network connection on your device. Once your eTickets have been scanned, you will get hard copies of your tickets printed right there at the turnstile. You'll have your pictures taken, then you will enter the "world of yesterday, tomorrow and fantasy."
While you are in the Disneyland app, I recommend exploring a bit to become familiar. You can use the app to observe attraction wait times and Disney FASTPASS times in the days leading up to your visit. That will give you a general idea of what to expect. You may want to learn how to make FASTPASS reservations using the
Disney MaxPass add-on that can be purchased with your tickets. You can familiarize yourself with information about entertainment, characters, guest services, and more! And don't forget my favorite: menus at dining locations! After all, it's never too soon to plan out your delicious meals. You can even use the Disneyland app to make dining reservations at table service restaurants now or to make
mobile food and beverage orders at select Quick Service restaurants once you are at the Disneyland Resort.
I hope you have a magical time, Jennifer!
