I bought tickets for April 18th, but forget to make a reservation as this step was not in place the last time we visited. Do I have any chance of getting in that morning if we show up? How often does the site get refreshed? Thank you!

    Hi Paula! Welcome to planDisney.

Gawrsh! I see and understand you are excited like so many people to visit Walt Disney World Resort during The World's Most Magical Celebration. I feel between the 50th Anniversary Celebration, Spring Break, and the return to travel, the house of the mouse is more popular than ever. Since the reopening of the theme parks, Walt Disney World Resort has had the Disney Parks Reservation system in place to help control crowds. At the time of purchase, you are alerted to check availability to secure your travel dates.

While I encourage you to check the availability often and refresh that page, you should think about alternative plans. Your theme park ticket is nontransferable and nonrefundable, however, you can change your start date up to midnight eastern time the day before your start date without penalty. Open the My Disney Experience Mobile App and click on the three horizontal lines in the bottom right-hand corner. Select "Tickets and Passes," locate your ticket, followed by "Change Ticket." Select a new date and if there is any difference in cost, submit payment. I encourage you to immediately return to the Disney Park Pass Reservation page and book your new date.

If your dates are not flexible here are a few options. Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is open and does not require reservations. Walk-ups are welcomed at Winter Summerland Miniature Golf and Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf.  I spend many non-theme park days at Disney Springs enjoying award-winning dining, free entertainment, and unique shopping. One of my favorites lately is City Works Eatery & Pour House for a craft beer and unique bar bites.

If you need further ticket assistance, call the Existing Ticket Help Center. Because wait times have been rather long, I suggest calling early or late in the day. Alternatively, utilize the chat feature either online or through the app.

I am Wishing Upon a Star and sending virtual Pixie Dust it all works out for you. I promise the magic will be waiting.

    Keeping it Magical,
    Cindy
