I just bought tickets for 8 adults and 2 children for 12/20/21 but it talks about still needing to make a reservation even though my receipt says December 20, 2021? I went to manage tickets and my tickets show up but it says unable to make a reservation

    Hello Jennifer,

It's so exciting to hear that you'll be visiting "The Happiest Place on Earth" at the merriest time of the year! Celebrating the holiday season at the Disneyland Resort is simply so special. The twinkling lights, festive sights, and Christmastime delights all make for a joyous wonder you're sure to love.

If you just purchased your theme park tickets to the Disneyland Resort either online using the Theme Park Tickets & Reservations system or through the Disneyland Resort mobile app, then you would have been guided to make your theme park reservations as part of the ticket buying process.

When you purchase theme park tickets, you're prompted to make your selections: "Select the Number of Days," "Select the Number of Tickets," and "Select Your Ticket Type." You're then prompted to "Choose Your Dates." This step lets you know that the system will make a theme park reservation for you for the dates you choose and for the theme parks you choose based on reservation availability.

I'm hopeful, Jennifer, that if you completed the steps to purchase new tickets, you also completed the steps to make your theme park reservations. These two steps were combined back in May to make planning a visit to the theme parks easier. The way to check is to look at your "My Theme Park Reservations" information in your Disneyland account. You can also check your Disneyland Resort mobile app to see your theme park reservations displayed.

If for some reason you're still not seeing that you have theme park reservations for your tickets and you're still encountering some issues making them, my suggestion would be to call the Disneyland Resort Website Support team at (714) 520-6222.

There are situations where Guests could have purchased theme park tickets previously or in a different way. In these situations, the Guests could check the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar and then use the Theme Park Tickets & Reservations system to make reservations for existing tickets.

Jennifer, I hope this information is helpful as you look forward to all the merry magic that awaits you at the Disneyland Resort!

Here's wishing you lots of Disney magic in your day today!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
