Hello, I bought a ticket for my 2 year old son,but he will still be 2 when we go. Can I get a refund or transfer to an adult and pay the difference?

    Hi ya, Diane!

It’s so nice to hear from you today, thanks for visiting us at planDisney. I’m so happy to hear that you and your family will be visiting Disneyland Resort. I’ve had an incredible weekend just seeing pictures of California residents returning to the parks. It’s truly magical to see my favorite place welcoming Guests back.

Oh Boy, you are correct, Guests 2-years old and under do not need a valid Theme Park ticket. Since you did already purchase one, I recommend giving the Ticket Service line a call. A Cast Member there will be able to help you with your ticket. Keep in mind that Theme Park tickets are non-refundable, but you might be able to upgrade it to an Adult priced ticket.

As long as your 2-year old is traveling with an adult who has both, a valid Theme Park ticket and Theme Park reservation, he will be free to enjoy The Happiest Place on Earth with you!

I can’t wait to hear all about your return, have a Magical time, Diane.

Meet the Panelist: Shantel, Alabama

Hi ya Pals! I'm Shantel, an Army wife and mom of two. I grew up going to the parks, and now we're sharing that tradition with our kids. When I am not visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, I'm at home researching and planning for our next trip. One of my favorite things to do is search for new snacks to try, especially if they are Mickey shaped. I'm definitely living the dream my heart wished for! I cannot wait to answer your questions and help make your vacation even more magical!
