I bought a ticket for tomorrow but it won't let me reserve it my family did theirs the same time and got a reservation

Hi Deanna! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.

Did you purchase your admission ticket to the Disneyland Resort parks directly through Disney? When you make your purchase directly, you're asked to select your preferred day and park. That becomes your theme park reservation. If you purchased directly, you should be good to go! If you're not sure if you already have a theme park reservation or you need some peace of mind, I'm happy to walk you through how to check.

Navigate to the Disneyland Resort homepage and make sure you're signed in to your account. Hover over the "My Disneyland" menu on the top right side of the page. Click on the "Theme Park Reservations" option. If you have linked your ticket and have an existing reservation for today, you should see it under "Your Current Theme Park Reservations." Hopefully, you've got one for today!

If not, you can also make a new reservation by clicking "Reserve." Popular days and parks can fill up. Availability isn't guaranteed. I checked, and unfortunately, it looks like there are no reservations left today. I'm sorry if that's impacting your plans! I know that must be frustrating. Your best option is to keep trying to reserve the day. Keep refreshing! People do cancel their reservations when their plans change, and the system updates immediately to show new availability. You might even snag something last minute with a little Pixie Dust. I've grabbed a reservation the day before by refreshing pretty devotedly, so I know it's possible.

A standard admission ticket has a very generous expiration, so if you can't visit today, you should be able to use your valid and wholly unused ticket on a future visit by making a theme park reservation for an available date and park. Even expired, wholly unused tickets can typically be applied toward the purchase of a new ticket by paying the difference. I've called the Tickets phone line and found the Cast Members to be friendly and knowledgeable about getting those expired tickets turned into new ones my family could actually use! They're always happy to help any way they possibly can. But I'm hoping you won't need to take that route.

I'm hoping you still get to have the perfect day with your family!
