Danielle from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I bought a ticket and had reserved a day, prior to you guys having the key holder pass. I wanted to see if I can transfer or change the name on the ticket I previously bought.

    Hey Danielle!
    Welcome to planDisney!
I see you’ve heard about the newly released Magic Keys! When Purchasing a Magic Key you’ll unlock Magic, enchantment and Adventure at both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. If you haven’t looked closely, there are four options to choose from and you’ll have access to the Imagine Key which is only for Southern California residents. You can expect a lot of the same benefits from before like discounts on food and merchandise and special Magic Key merchandise.
It sounds like you have a ticket that you are no longer going to use yourself. Tickets for Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure are not actually assigned until you get to the turnstiles to use the ticket. If the ticket is unused, you can have another person use the ticket. When you get to the turnstiles, a cast member will take your picture and assign the ticket.
Well Danielle, if anything else comes up please let us know!
Remember, always believe in the Magic!
