Hi, Annalicia!
Welcome, and thanks for stopping by
planDisney with your question about the
Disneyland Resort. Your pixie-dusted day in the theme parks is just around the corner! I hope you’re looking forward to all the magic that awaits you at the Happiest Place on Earth.
I’m sorry to hear that your mom can’t join you. The theme parks are only open to California residents at this time, so Cast Members at the theme park entrances may require you to present valid identification to show proof of residency. For that reason, it’s best that the name on each ticket matches the name of the person using the ticket and their identification card. Unused
theme park tickets can’t be assigned to another person online, so I suggest that you call the Disneyland Resort at (714) 781-4636 for assistance with reassigning the ticket to your niece prior to your arrival. However, if she isn’t able to join you either, don’t worry! Even if a theme park ticket expires, you can always use the amount you paid as credit toward a valid ticket in the future.
Please feel free to ask us any other questions you have, Annalicia. I hope you enjoy a wonderful theme park day with your family soon!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
