I bought my ticket at a military rate at the base ticket office and they gave me a paper that is my ticket. I was wondering how to add it on the Disney app I have a ticket ID but it won’t work because it’s too long when entering it on the app.

Well hello there, Christopher. Welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with your question. We're so glad you're here and I'm delighted to help.

First and foremost, thank you for your service. I'm so glad to hear that you'll be using a military ticket for your visit to the Disneyland Resort. I love the convenience of the Disneyland app and use it during all of my visits, so it's great to hear that you are trying to add your ticket to the app. I have a couple of suggestions for you to try to link your ticket.

If you haven't already, you can also try linking your ticket at the Disneyland site by clicking on "Link Tickets" which can be found under the heading "My Disneyland" towards the top right. You will also find a couple of images of sample tickets to the right to help indicate where the ticket ID might be located on your paper ticket. Secondly, if there is a barcode, you might try adding your ticket by scanning this in the Disneyland app. Once you're at the screen to link tickets, you can tap on "Camera" towards the top left and simply scan the barcode to add your ticket. Finally, if all else fails, I suggest reaching out to a friendly Cast Member for help with Tickets.

I hope this helps and that you're able to get your ticket linked soon, Christopher. Once your ticket is linked and your theme park reservations are set, you can start your getting even more excited - your visit will be here before you know it. If you haven't already, I recommend checking out the Flag Retreat Ceremony that takes place on Main Street, U.S.A. near the Disneyland Railroad. It is a time-honored ceremony that is incredibly moving and something that I love that Disneyland does to honor our military service members and veterans. You can search for "Flag Retreat Ceremony" in the Disneyland app for the time and exact location.
