Hello I have bought a ticket in 2020. However, the park was closed due to Corona Virus. Then I cancelled my flight ticket. Can I get my refund of this ticket?

    Hey there, Lujia!

Thanks for visiting planDisney with your question!

I can imagine you're looking forward to planning a visit to Walt Disney World Resort. Hopefully your great, big, beautiful tomorrow includes ideas for a stay at The Most Magical Place on Earth.

While theme park tickets for Walt Disney World Resort are nonrefundable, you might have some options for how to use your ticket for a future visit. I suggest you give a call to the Walt Disney World Ticketing team at (407)-566-4985. The Cast Members on the ticketing team can talk through your options based on the specifics of the ticket you purchased. Options could include using the ticket if it hasn't reached its expiration date or applying the ticket towards the purchase of a new ticket for a future visit. The ticketing team can provide you with the details to help you decide what's best for you.

I do hope you get to enjoy a fun and wonderful vacation to Walt Disney World Resort sometime soon. When it comes time to plan your trip, come ask us about recommendations for what to see, do, and enjoy. The planDisney Panelists are always happy to share suggestions from our own Disney vacation experiences.

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
