    I bought a ticket for my friend but she can no longer go. Am I able to transfer ticket to my boyfriend.

    Hi there, Victoria! On behalf of all of us, welcome to planDisney, and thank you for thinking of us as a vacation planning resource. I'm happy to hear that you're gearing up for a spectacular visit to Disneyland Resort and it'll be a pleasure to help!

    I'm happy to share that standard tickets can be reassigned by simply calling the Tickets line and requesting that the Cast Member change the name associated with your Guest's ticket. If you happen to have purchased a special offer ticket for Anaheim Residents, be sure to mention this to the Cast Member assisting you so that they can ensure proof of residency is associated with the ticket and give you guidance on how to show this at the theme park entrance. Then, you'll want to follow the steps to link this ticket to your boyfriend's MyDisney account within the official Disneyland mobile app and ensure that he has a theme park reservation on the date of your visit. Once this is all confirmed, he can simply scan the barcode at the theme park entrance or use a linked MagicBand+ to enter the park! A Cast Member will take his photo at the time of first entry and this will officially assign the ticket to him for the duration of its valid use.

    Of course, I should mention that Disneyland Resort theme park tickets may not be resold or transferred for commercial purposes, but gifting the ticket would be just fine!
