To upgrade to a higher tier for a one-day park ticket, your friend will have to head to a Disneyland Resort Main Entrance ticket booth. There, a friendly Cast Member will gladly assist your friend in upgrading her tickets. She’ll pay the difference in value between the two tiers. Once completed, she can then make her theme park reservation for the new date she intends to visit. If you purchased a multi-day park ticket for your friend, however, the tiers do not matter.
