Hi Joseph! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.
When you purchased your
1-Day ticket, you selected a date, thereby making a
theme park reservation. You're free to modify that reservation to any available date and park in the same Tier while your ticket is valid. There are some important things to note, however. If you select a date in a lower Tier, you wouldn't be refunded the price difference, and if you would like to select a date that falls in a higher Tier, you'd need to call the
Tickets phone line, so they could process that upgrade for you subject to availability. With a higher Tier, you'd need to have your ticket ID number and method of payment ready to go for the Cast Member, so they could handle the adjustment for you.
I can walk you through how to modify your theme park reservation to a day that is the same or lower Tier. It's pretty easy! First, navigate to the Disneyland Resort website. Next, hover over "My Disneyland" at the top of the page. Select "Ticket and Reservation Details" from the dropdown menu. On the next page, scroll down to "Make or Modify Park Reservations" and click to begin the modification process. You should see your confirmation and a link to modify your reservation. Some dates might be unavailable. Popular days and parks can fill up. If you'd like to check by later, sometimes availability changes as people's plans change.
There's a handy tool to check theme park reservation availability. The t
heme park availability calendar is updated to show which days and parks are available. Currently, the calendar displays dates through most of the summer, which gives you plenty of time to plan your visit if you decide to modify your theme park reservation.
I hope this helps!
