    I bought a ticket for my best friend and my name is on the ticket. Do I have to change the name before arriving at the parks?

    Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for dropping by with your question! 
    It is not necessary to change the name on your theme park ticket ahead of your visit. That’s because upon arrival a Cast Member will take a picture of the person using each ticket. Then, the ticket is associated with the person in the picture, not the name on the ticket. So, head straight to the turnstiles with your best friend when you arrive! 

    You’re just hours away from your trip and I know you’re going to have a wonderful visit! I hope you purchased a Park Hopper ticket because it allows you to experience the magic of both parks. Like the all-new Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure Park and the nighttime fireworks at Disneyland Park. Plus, all of the delicious dining options at both theme parks! If you do not currently have a Park Hopper ticket and you would like to upgrade, you may inquire about it at the Main Entrance ticket booth when you arrive. Just make sure you ask about upgrading before you scan your ticket at the theme park turnstiles.
