I bought a ticket for my au pair to go with my family and she has to go back to her country for emergency medical care. Can I get a refund for her ticket?

    Hi there, Audra!

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for bringing us your Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. It looks like your family will be embarking on a journey to The Most Magical Place on Earth next month - the countdown is almost over! Audra, I'm sorry to hear that not all of your travel party is able to make the trip, but I'm here to help your family make the most of your Walt Disney World Resort adventure!

Soon, you'll be immersed in a world full of wonder and enchantment. Visiting the Walt Disney World Resort with little ones is such a special experience, Audra! Although it's unfortunate to hear that your au pair isn't able to join your family on your upcoming visit, I'm hopeful that you'll still have an unforgettable time together in the theme parks. Audra, theme park tickets are nonrefundable and nontransferable. However, I'm happy to inform you that Guests with wholly unused, expired tickets may apply the value paid for their original tickets toward the purchase of new theme park admission! When you're ready to complete this transaction and purchase new theme park tickets, you can reach out to the friendly Cast Members at the Existing Tickets phone line for assistance. Hopefully, this means that your family and au pair will be able to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth together in the future!

Audra, if you'll be visiting with little Mouseketeers, be sure to utilize the complimentary Baby Care Centers available in each of the theme parks. These quiet, clean spaces offer Guests the ability to change, feed, and provide care for the littlest members of their travel parties! My family has relied heavily on these locations throughout my son's infant and toddler years. Guests can even purchase common childcare items (like diapers, baby food, sunscreen, and more) at the Baby Care Centers!

I hope you've found this information helpful as you gear up for a grand adventure, Audra! If you have any additional planning questions, please feel free to revisit us at planDisney soon. We're here to help you make the most of your time at The Most Magical Place on Earth!

    Warm wishes,

    Lauren
