Hi there, Cindi. Thanks for stopping by
planDisney with your question.
Visiting Walt Disney World over Christmastime is so amazing, Cindi, you are going to love it. My family and I visit over Christmas every year and it is so magical, festive and fun. Right now, Walt Disney World is still operating at a limited capacity.
Park pass reservations are a way of controlling how many people visit each day and what park. Because of this, you will need to make park pass reservations for the person you bought the ticket for. Everyone who requires a theme park ticket will also require a park pass reservation to enter. Because you are visiting at a popular time, I encourage you to make those park pass reservations for that person as soon as possible to be able to match the theme parks that you have already secured.
If by chance, you aren't able to secure a park pass reservation for the other person in your party because the park is full that day, I'd suggest reaching out to a Cast Member via the "Chat With Us" feature on the
MyDisneyExperience app. To find this feature, launch the app and sign in if prompted. Then, click the three blue horizontal lines at the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. This will open up a menu and you can scroll down until you see the chat option. When you open the chat you are able to type in your issue and then you'll be placed in a queue. Oftentimes, there is a wait for someone to chat with but you are able to close the app and move on with your day. When a Cast Member is available, you'll receive a push notification that it's your turn to chat. Sometimes the Cast Member will be able to copy your last Guest onto your existing park pass reservations since you will all be visiting together. This isn't a guarantee but I've had good luck with it.
I hope this helps, Cindi. If you have any other questions before you go, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm here to help. Have fun and Merry Christmas!
