Hey there, Stuart, thank you so much for stopping by planDisney. First, I'm so sorry to hear about your family members' plans changing due to the winter storm. I had some family who experienced some travel mishaps due to those storms as well - it can be very stressful. Though, I'm glad you were able to cancel their park reservations for your trip!
According to the
eTicket Terms and Conditions, theme park tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable, meaning that you cannot cancel them or receive a refund. However, the good news is that these tickets are still valid, so you can make new park reservations for your family's next trip to the Disneyland Resort.
Theme park tickets have varying expiration dates based on the type of ticket, but if your family's tickets expire before you're able to plan your next visit, then you can use the purchase price of the unused tickets towards the purchase of new tickets of equal or greater value.
Once again, I'm sorry to hear your original vacation plans were thrown off due to those winter storms. I'm hopeful that you and your family will be able to have a magical time on your next visit! There are so many fun things coming this year at the Disneyland Resort as part of
Disney100 like the opening of
Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway and the new
World of Color - ONE nighttime spectacular that I'm sure your family will have an amazing time. Please stop by planDisney again - especially as you begin planning your next trip - we'd love to help!
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
