I bought a three day pass pass to Disneyland for nov 5,6 and 7. On my last day can I use the pass to upgrade to an annual pass?

Hiya, Billy! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!

I'm thrilled to hear that you are considering purchasing a Magic Key! You can most certainly upgrade your three-day ticket to a Magic Key and you already have the perfect process in mind. You will visit the parks with your three-day ticket in November and keep all your theme park reservations intact. After you enter the park on November 7th, but sometime before the parks close that day, upgrade your ticket to a Magic Key in the Disneyland app. It's important that you wait until the last day that your three-day ticket is valid and that you have entered the park that day. This is because once you upgrade to a Magic Key, any remaining theme park reservations tied to the ticket being upgraded will be cancelled. Keep in mind that the activation/anniversary date for your Magic Key will be retroactive to the first day that you used your three-day ticket.

Since you are a California resident, you will have the option of paying for your Magic Key in monthly payments. This option is still available when upgrading a ticket to a Magic Key pass. You will also still need to make theme park reservations to visit with your Magic Key, but you will use a different calendar that is just for Magic Key holders. Depending on your pass type, you can hold anywhere between two and six theme park reservations at a time.

I hope you have a great time enjoying the Disneyland Resort all year long with your Magic Key!
