It seems like your Spider Bot is one of the defective units that tried to take over
WEB Workshop and Avengers Campus, so your best course of action (beyond keeping a careful eye on it so that it doesn't replicate!) is to contact the Cast Members at
Disneyland Resort. It's also helpful to make a little video showing what happens when you try to pair it with the remote.
You can write about your issue through
this form, and a Cast Member will get in touch with you. They will probably ask you to send a video and a photo of the receipt. From that point on, they will help you with the available options to ensure that your family owns a non-replicating Spider Bot!
