If I bought my sons unstuffed Build-a-bear dinosaurs and gave them to them on our way to Disney, would they be able to have them stuffed and customized at the Build-a-Dino Workshop in the T-Rex Cafe at Disney Springs? Thanks!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Sebrina! I am so happy to be able to answer your question! I did something like this for my son’s recent birthday with my local store.

I purchased a Darth Vader Bear “skin” and saved my receipt. I was afraid my chosen animal would sell out before I could get my birthday boy to our neighborhood location, so I gifted the empty bear to my son and took him back to create Darth Vader! When we entered the store, I presented the receipt and skin to the “stuffer” and we started our creation process, all the way through to the naming certificate. I called to check with the T-Rex Build-A-Dino location, and the Disney Springs location employees verified that YES, you can absolutely bring an unstuffed dino and receipt from home to create dinosaurs on property. They do this often for eager guests seeking prehistoric fun. Be sure to purchase any soundmakers or internal accessories when you purchase your skin, or be ready to purchase them when you visit T-Rex Cafe. (I bought a lightsaber addition for my son to add on!)

If I can help you DIG up some more mammoth sized fun, please let me know. I hope you have a Dinomite time! ~ Lindsey P.
