I bought my son and his friend 4-day tickets for the end of July, but at their prom last night, they won 3 tickets that expire on August 1st. Is there any way I can get a refund for 3 days on the original tickets?

Hello, Anthony! Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for stopping by!

How excited your son and his friend must have been to win Disney Theme Park Tickets at their prom! I am sure they’re delighted to be visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth this summer.

Of course, they will want to use their Theme Park Tickets that are set to expire! Do not fear, as I believe you can find a solution for this. As you will see in this handy FAQ page from the Walt Disney World website, while Disney Theme Park Tickets are typically non-refundable, you can often use the value of a completely unused Ticket toward a future vacation! How cool is that? All you would need to do is call Disney Existing Tickets via telephone to discuss your options! Cast Members are standing by, waiting to help!

Anthony, I hope that the advice above helps you plan an incredible trip for your son and his friend! It sounds like they’re going to have an amazing summer! Make sure you have both kids listed within the Family & Friends list on your My Disney Experience account so you can make plans and Disney Park Pass Reservations for them! In fact, I recommend that you browse at the Park Pass availability calendar and make a plan with them to see which days they prefer to visit which Theme Parks!

It has been fun to help out with planning this amazing trip. Please know that you can come back and see us again anytime we can be of help!

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Clara
