    I bought Socal Resident tickets for my family to celebrate my Dad's bday, but he went to the hospital and had surgery a week before our reservation. Was told to cancel but now can't rebook because of the exp date, want to use $ toward new tickets

    I am so sorry to hear about your dad. I hope that he is okay now and has a speedy recovery.  Even though you probably wish you could have used your tickets, canceling your theme park reservation was the best thing to do. Since your California Resident Ticket expired on September 30, 2021, you will not be able to make a new theme park reservation with that ticket.
     
    It sounds like you cancelled your theme park reservation before using the tickets. In order to get use out of your expired tickets you will need to take them to one of the ticket booths in the Esplanade at the Disneyland Resort. You will receive the value paid for your unused tickets and you will be able to put that towards the purchase of new tickets. We are right in the middle of Halloween time at the Disneyland Resort and Holidays at the Disneyland Resort are right around the corner so it will be the perfect time for you to visit during one of these two celebrations. If it were up to me I would choose to go during  holidays at the Disneyland Resort as it's my favorite time of the year.
     
    Well Lauren, I hope you and your dad are able to celebrate at the Happiest Place on Earth.
