I bought a SoCal Res. 3 days tickets on 1/12/2020 and couldn’t go due to Covid. And also because of covid we couldn’t go in 2021 either. Now it’s only 1 month left for 2021, is that mean our tickets will be expired? What are my options here?

    Good day, Ruby!

Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so very much for bringing your question our way!

The Southern California Resident Ticket offer was so wonderful! I’m delighted to hear that you purchased tickets when the offer was available. This ticket type’s expiration date has been extended through December 16, 2021. However, SoCal Resident tickets may only be used on non-consecutive days and are now subject to blockout days November 20-27, 2021.

But, there is no need to worry even if you’re unable to use the tickets by that date! That’s because according to eTicket Terms & Conditions unless otherwise stated, the amount paid for any wholly unused, expired Disneyland Resort theme park ticket (with the exception of Special Event Tickets) may be applied towards the purchase of a new theme park admission ticket at the current price. The new ticket purchase price must be equal to or greater than the amount paid for the original ticket. So, when you’re ready to visit, simply go to a Main Entrance ticket booth and, ask a Cast Member to apply your eligible ticket amount towards a new ticket purchase.

I hope you enjoy your time at “The Happiest Place on Earth!” whenever you decide to go!
