Greetings, Marian, and thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!
Some of my favorite
Disneyland Resort memories are from visiting the parks with my best friends as a teenager, so I’m excited for your daughter to experience the Happiest Place on Earth with her friends in just a few weeks!
You made a great choice in purchasing the
3-Day Southern California Resident Ticket, which is a wonderful deal for local residents! I checked with a Cast Member, and was told that your daughter would only be required to show a valid government-issued photo ID if she was age 18 or over, so she won’t be required to show anything besides her valid ticket with park reservation for admission. Keep in mind that the Southern California Resident Ticket can only be used on weekdays now through May 26, 2022, and is valid for residents living within ZIP codes 90000-93599.
If your daughter or anyone in her group will have access to a mobile phone, I recommend
downloading the Disneyland app before her visit – it’s my favorite handy helper for navigating the parks! Also, I recommend sending your daughter with a
Disney Gift Card to use for payments – this is the perfect way for her to budget her meals and purchases with one simple card.
Last but not least,
here’s the Entertainment Schedule for your daughter's first visit. She can use it to check park hours and see any attractions scheduled for refurbishment.
I hope this information helps your daughter plan her upcoming visit, and puts your mind at ease, Marian! Please stop by with any additional questions you may have… we’re all EARs!
