Grace from ON Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

We bought six Canadian Resident 4-day tickets in January 2020 but due to the border closures, we were unable to cross. We are finally able to get across but we want to make sure our tickets will still be honoured at the discounted rate as when purchased.

Greetings, Grace, and welcome to planDisney, we thank you for your question!

I vividly recall those incredible special offer tickets for Canadians, which were good savings keeping the currency exchange rates in mind, and I understand clearly the situation presented with the challenges faced worldwide.

In general, Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets and vacation packages are non-refundable and non-transferable, but please note, that in some circumstances unused or unexpired tickets may be applied towards future use. Because these were in the special offer category, and because of all the unprecedented circumstances, I would strongly suggest contacting Existing Tickets as soon as you can.

To prepare for your telephone call, Grace, you may wish to know of the current Special Offers, Deals & Discounts at Walt Disney World Resort to keep in mind if you are planning a future stay. This way the Reservations Agent might be able to help you out with any discounted offer and tickets.

I have to let you know that Disney Cruise Line just-released fantastic savings for Canadian residents, and as an avid cruiser with Disney I can honestly say that those vacations are incredible, and almost everything is included. I love the 24-hour beverage stations, and room service, not to mention the unique rotational dining, where the serving team stays with you keeping your dining nuances at the forefront every night. And then, on most sailings, they stop at their private island in the Bahamas, exclusively for Disney Cruise Line Guests to enjoy a beach barbecue and complimentary beach umbrellas, loungers and chairs - I just had to tell you about this!

If you do book a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, please link your reservations and make your Disney Park Pass selections with your valid theme park admission to tour parks in the order of your preference. And don’t forget to book your Disney Dining!

It was a pleasure assisting you, Grace, please stop by with any other questions you may have.

From a fellow Canadian, best Disney wishes ~ Jacqueline
