Hiya, Sharon!
Thanks for stopping by with your
Disneyland Resort vacation planning question. You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney!
Oh boy - you're preparing for a trip to The Happiest Place on Earth... the countdown is on! Sharon, you've come to the right place with your question. We're here to help you and your Club of Mouseketeers prepare for a magical holiday at the Disneyland Resort!
It sounds like you've purchased One Park Per Day
theme park tickets for your upcoming visit. Great choice! With this ticket type, you'll be able to experience all that
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park have to offer. Sharon, I'm happy to inform you that you're welcome to leave a theme park and return to the same park later in the day with this ticket type! This is especially helpful on hot summer days when Guests may want to take a mid-day break to cool off at their
Disneyland Resort hotel's pool or air-conditioned room. You can enter the theme park for "rope drop" when the theme park opens, and return in the evening to catch the exhilarating nighttime
entertainment offerings!
Sharon, here are a few additional ideas on how to beat the heat without leaving the theme parks:
- Participate in Animation Academy in the comfortably climate-controlled Disney Animation Building at Disney California Adventure Park. Here, you'll learn how to draw a Disney character with the guidance of a Disney animator!
- Hop in the queue for Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway at Disneyland Park. The El CapiTOON Theater is air-conditioned and filled with fun Disney "Easter eggs!" How many can you identify?
- Dine indoors at a restaurant inside the theme parks. My family loves Blue Bayou Restaurant at Disneyland Park, where dining Guests can watch Pirates of the Caribbean boats pass by!
I hope you've found this information helpful, Sharon! I'm wishing you safe travels and an unforgettable Disneyland Resort holiday. If you have any additional planning questions, please feel free to stop back by
planDisney again anytime. We're all ears!
See ya real soon,
Lauren
