Hello! How are you? I bought my reservation and tickets. However, I didn't received my ID how can I link them each with my family? Also, I'm traveling in may, when do I need to start the check-in? Thanks in advance

    Hello there, Lorena!

May the force be with you on your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation in May. You have much to look forward to rocking out at the Garden Rocks Concert Series at the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, racing on the TRON Lightcycle / Run grid, and gazing up at the “Happily Ever After” nighttime spectacular. There is so much magic to be discovered.

Let’s get you comfortable with your My Disney Experience account. I love that you can view your reservations on your laptop or mobile device on the My Disney Experience app. After downloading and opening the app, press the three horizontal bars and then “Tickets and Passes.” If your future plans or tickets don’t appear in the app or account, you should refer back to the email from a Walt Disney World Reservation email account that was sent to you when you made your reservation. Once you track down the email, you can link your reservations and purchases with your My Disney Experience account.

In order to link your family’s plans, you’ll want to ensure that your Family & Friends List is up to date. Press the three horizontal bars on the bottom right corner of the screen, click “My Profile,” and select the Family & Friends List at the top to see who is currently linked to your account. You can add your family and friends to your list by finding them through current friends, entering their name and age, or scanning their linking code.

Once your reservation is linked to your account, you’ll find that you can begin the Online Check-In service before your arrival on the My Disney Experience app. Checking in online before your arrival means that you can skip waiting for the Front Desk and go directly to your room as soon as you receive a notification that it’s ready. If you have a MagicBand or a Key to the World Card, you can use that to enter your room. If you’d rather Check-In at the front desk, that is totally fine too. I always love hearing the Cast Members say, “Welcome Home.”

Let me know if you need any other tips or tricks.

May the magic be with you!
