Hi Jin,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and I'm happy to shed some light on your question. The
Quick-Service Disney Dining Plan will entitle you to (2) quick-service meals and (1) snack per night of your package stay for everyone in the party age 3 and up, plus a refillable mug to be used at your Resort Hotel.
My recommendations for gaining the best value is to seek out the most popular locations participating in the plan for various reasons, i.e. health conscious items, variety, unique ingredients, etc. Some of my favorite quick-service locations for healthy items include Flame Tree Barbecue at Disney's Animal Kingdom, Wolfgang Puck Express at Downtown Disney, Be Our Guest (lunch only) at Magic Kingdom, Starring Rolls Cafe at Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Tangierine Cafe in Epcot. You'll also find snack carts throughout the Parks, offering fruits and vegetables.
If traveling with children, be sure to check out the
Mickey Check icons. I recently addressed a similar question about finding healthy alternatives for little ones, so check out my prior answer
HERE for more information on Disney's initiative, "The Magic of Healthy Living."
My last recommendation is to pay out of pocket for breakfast items, such as yogurt, fruit or cereal, and save your dining credits for lunch and dinner. I can expand on any of the above topics you'd like to discuss further, Jin, so please write me back with follow up questions.
Happy planning!
Sherri
