I just bought the pre paid photo cd. When we get to WDW all I have to do is get one of the photo cards from the photographers and start getting pictures? When we return home they will send me the Cd and I can have pics printed say at target? Help!

So far so good Arlene; you've got it all right!  Prepaying for the PhotoPass is a great way to save if you know you will want to order the CD full of photos of your trip.

Having already bought the CD, you'll want to take full advantage every time you come across one of the PhotoPass photographers.  Feel free to ask him or her for different groupings for your photos (the whole family, just the kids, Mom and Dad only, etc.) so that you'll end up with plenty of great shots when you get home.  Save the card that the PhotoPass photographer gives to you and reuse it each time you have a photo taken.  That way, all of the photos they take will end up one your one CD.  Oh, and don't worry if your party splits up; you can combine multiple PhotoPass cards and have them compiled onto one CD.  In fact, you can even upload the pictures that you take with your own personal camera and have them added as well.  Once you get home, log on to check out all of your vacation photos.  You can also edit them and add magical Disney touches like borders and characters.  Once you've finalized the photos, they will send you the CD and you are free to have prints made at the photo finishing shop of your choice.

Did you know you can order customized photo books with shots from your vacation too?  Typically I'm a scrapbooker, but this idea is sounding pretty darn good to me because I've been so crunched for time lately.  I'm looking forward to trying out that option after my next trip.

Hopefully those PhotoPass photographers will snap a ton of great photos during your vacation.  Happy posing!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
