Hello David,
Welcome to planDisney! It's always wonderful for me as the current
UK-based Panelist to assist a fellow British Guest who, like me, also hears the
Magic Calling from the Sunshine State of Florida!
Firstly, allow me to congratulate your darling daughter on her recent wedding, and of course, you too for gaining another valued member of the family. It's always fun to celebrate a truly happily ever after event!
It sure sounds as if you've already been doing some tiggerific planning towards your family's upcoming April holiday to Walt Disney World Resort. I love that you've created a
My Disney Experience account, and hopefully have already linked your purchased
Magic Tickets, which will, in turn, enable you to make those all-important
Disney Park Pass reservations for all your intended Disney days.
When thinking about amending Guest details within My Disney Experience, David, I'm more than happy to share that if you manage your daughter's plans, then it is quite straightforward to update your daughter's new married surname -
- On a desktop computer, log in to your
My Disney Experience account
- From the drop-down menu, select
Family and Friends, this opens a new window
- Scroll down the page until you see your
daughter's profile (it must state -
Managed by Me)
- Select
Update, which opens up the profile window
- Update the Guest details as necessary and select
Save to complete any changes
However, if your dear daughter manages her own My Disney Experience account, she will need to make the changes herself by simply -
- On a desktop computer, log in to her
My Disney Experience account
- From the drop-down menu, select
My Profile, this opens a new window
- Select
Account Settings, again this opens a new window
- Scroll down to
Personal Information, then go ahead and make any amendments
- Continue to scroll to the foot of the page, select
Done to save any changes
Hopefully, with a little faith, trust, and pixie dust you should now be all set!
David, if there were any hiccups in updating your daughter's new married surname on your My Disney Experience account, then I would suggest speaking in person on the phone with a helpful Cast Member.
It's straightforward to dial the UK freephone number for
Technical and Website Support contained within this
Walt Disney World Resort Phone Directory to connect with a Cast Member who can fully access your My Disney Experience account.
I really hope that I've been able to provide a little pixie-dusted insight for you today David! If you should have any further questions at all about your upcoming April holiday to the most magical place on earth, then please do drop back to me at planDisney.
Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
