Greetings, Jennifer,
I’m sorry to hear your partner will no longer be able to make it to the frightful fun at the Disneyland Resort. But I’m very glad to hear your friend is available to go with you in his place. Sharing the spooktacular fun of a visit to the
Disneyland Resort during Halloween time with others is a mystical and magical experience to remember.
I was in the same position as you just last year. A member of our party was unable to join us for our outing to
Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party. Fortunately, a family member was able to step in and take their place. If you’d like, you may call the
Tickets phone line to request a name change on the ticket. But that isn’t absolutely necessary. Cast Members use a photo of the Guest using a ticket for verification rather than their name.
Last year, our party entered
Disney California Adventure Park together to enjoy the party. So it was easy to use my one device to swipe through each
Disney eTicket for the members of our party. Another year, we also had a member of our party that couldn’t go to the party with us. (Hmm. I wonder if there is a pattern there that should concern me!) That year, we invited a different friend to use that ticket. I texted them a screenshot of the eTicket from the
Disneyland mobile app since they would not be arriving at the park with us. That worked perfectly! We were careful not to activate that ticket when the rest of us arrived first. And our friend was able to show the ticket screenshot and enter the park later in the evening.
Tony’s Tip: Guests of Oogie Boogie Bash may download complimentary
Disney PhotoPass photos from the event. You may use the PhotoPass code printed on your wristbands. But don’t forget to link that PhotoPass code with your account in the Disneyland app. In fact, you may choose to link the codes from all of the wristbands of your party. That way, no matter who shows their wristband to the PhotoPass photographer, your photos will be linked to your account.
Have a fiendishly fun time, Jennifer!
