I bought all of my parties tickets, my wife, married son and his wife and their 7 yo child. How do I transfer their tickets to them so they can use their phones for on line dinning and lighting passes etc?

    Welcome back, Jay!

I'm so happy you found your way back to planDisney. We love sharing our best planning tips for visits to the Disneyland Resort, and that usually starts with ensuring you have all your logistics in place to make for a magical arrival. Let's take a look at your question!

As the planner in my family, I often find myself in the same situation as you when it comes to holding all the theme park tickets and plans. I can understand wanting to ensure everyone in your party can enter and exit the parks on their own and make their own plans throughout the day. Tickets can be easily linked to other Disneyland accounts with just a few taps in the Disneyland app. Everyone will need to have their own Disneyland account set up and log in to the app with those credentials. From here, tap the three-line icon in the bottom right-hand corner and select "My Tickets and Passes". This is where you will find all of the tickets currently linked to your account by scrolling left. You will stay here while your party members will tap the "+" in the upper right-hand corner to "Link Tickets and Passes". If you happen to be in the same room together, they can choose "Camera" and simply scan the barcode for their ticket from your phone. If not, no worries. You can send them the ticket confirmation number listed under the barcode, and they can choose "Type ID" to enter it manually. Personally, I think it's easiest to do all the linking once we are all together. If your party is hoping to book Lightning Lanes together or separately or in different groups, I recommend that everyone links all of the tickets to their account. You would just repeat the process above. This will take an extra minute, but it will provide the most flexibility for everyone. You can make Lightning Lane selections throughout the day for any combination of Guests whose tickets are linked to your account.

Jay, that was a lot to soak in, but once you are in the app, it will be pretty intuitive and just take a minute or two. When it comes to Dining Reservations, these will only appear in the "My Day" or "Future Plans" for the Guest who made the reservation, even if you are linked to others in your party. The Disneyland app does not yet have the functionality to share it. My friends and I usually use our good old phones and send a calendar invite to each other with an automatic alert about 30 minutes ahead of the reservation to ensure everyone gets where they need to be!

Don't forget that included in your Lightning Lane Multi Pass purchase is unlimited digital downloads of all the Disney PhotoPass photos you capture that day. It's the best way to remember the magic! You will also have access to the Disney PhotoPass Lenses in the app, which are fun filters and animations. My kids love playing around with these if we are waiting in an attraction queue!

Jay, I hope we've set you up for a successful arrival today! If you have any more questions, we'd love to help here at planDisney.

    Magic awaits!
