We bought park tickets in 2020 but could not use them due to the virus. Do the tickets have expiration dates?

    Hi Robert,

Thank you for taking the time to send your question to us here at planDisney.  With the reopening of Disneyland Resort in a few short weeks, I am counting down the days until I can visit the Happiest Place on Earth again!

When the temporary closure of Disneyland Resort was announced last year, the expiration date for most Theme Park Tickets was automatically extended until December 16, 2021.  I recommend signing in to your Disney Account and link your Theme Park Tickets to verify your new expiration date as they should have automatically been updated.  If you have specific questions regarding your Theme Park Tickets, please call (714) 781-4636 to speak with a Cast Member.  If you cannot make it back to Disneyland Resort prior to the new extended expiration, don't worry, guests are able to apply the value of your wholly unused Theme Park Ticket toward a new Theme Park Ticket.

In compliance with State Guidelines, Disneyland Resort will be opening to California Residents on April 30, 2021, with information for out of state and international guests to be released at a later date.  In the meantime, I suggest checking the Disney Parks Blog, as well as the official Disneyland Resort website for the most up to date information regarding all things Disney.

I hope this information was helpful, Robert.  Please let us know if you have any other questions as you plan your return to Disneyland Resort, we are always happy to help.
