Boo to you, Ileana! The happy haunts at planDisney are so glad you brought your question to us today! You're heading to the Most Magical Place on Earth during the
spooky season, and the magic is ready to materialize for your enjoyment!
Ileana, you are more than welcome to visit Magic Kingdom Park with a
Standard Theme Park Ticket on a day when
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is scheduled; you are also welcome to stay for the party if you purchase the
Special Event Ticket for this event on the same day. Generally, if you are already inside of Magic Kingdom Park on a party day, you will find stations with Cast Members scanning your party tickets and giving you your party credentials (usually a wristband) starting around 4 PM. When you check in for the party, you will also receive an event guide map and your trick or treat tote bag (and maybe even your first treat!).
Usually on party nights, the park will close to day guests at 6 PM and the party festivities will begin at 7 PM; be sure to check out which
attractions will be available during the party so you can plan your evening! Some even get into the spirit of the season with spooky overlays, like
Space Mountain which runs in absolute darkness to the haunting sounds of Halloween! It's my favorite! In other exciting news, it was recently announced that both
Tiana's Bayou Adventure and
TRON Lightcycle / Run will be open and running a standby queue during the party! This is great news for party-goers who are hoping to experience both of these popular attractions!
Ileana, I hope you enjoy your extended day at Magic Kingdom - be sure to keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for more updates as they come, including spooky snacks and special entertainment and character offerings! In the meantime, if you have any other questions as you prepare for your visit, come on back to
planDisney and let us know! We're always happy to help!
Happy Haunting,
Alison
