Hi Karin! Welcome to planDisney!
Oh Boy! Just a few short days to your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation during
The World's Most Magical Celebration. When the sun goes down, Disney icons come to shimmering EARidescent life during
Beacons of Magic at all four theme parks. My favorite is
Spaceship Earth at
EPCOT. Enjoy specialty-themed treats created just for the celebration. Here is the
50th Anniversary Celebration Sips and Bites Guide to tempt your tastebuds. I am recommending the Glimmer and Shimmer Blondie at
Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Karin, I believe you have already solved the mystery of your ticket linking problem. As an example, I recently vacationed with my parents. Because my father has his own
My Disney Experience account, his ticket and park pass information showed up under his own account. However, because my Dad is on my "Family & Friends List," I am able to make theme park and dining reservations with him.
While you do have the option of
deleting his old account if not wanted anymore, that option could take up to 14 days to complete. I recommend signing into his account to research if his ticket and plans are available for managing. If you have forgotten your password, select "Need Help Signing In" for a one-time passcode to be sent to the associated email address with his account.
Once you have successfully found his account and reservations, you may link him to your "Family & Friends List." This has been made super easy recently by using the "Show My Linking Code" under "My Profile" in the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. You will be generated a code good for 30 minutes to be scanned by any Guest you would like to add to your Family & Friends List.
If any of these options do not work for you it is time to call the
Help Center or utilize the chat function to speak to a friendly Cast Member. Lately, wait times have trended rather lengthy. I recommend calling early or late in the day to minimize on-hold time.
Just a friendly reminder,
Theme Park Reservations are now required prior to your visit. Here is the
availability calendar.Keeping it Magical,
