Hi there, Vickie!
Double the parks, double the magic! I support this plan to expand the adventure during your visit to the Disneyland Resort.
To upgrade a One Park Per Day ticket to a
Park Hopper ticket, you may stop by a main entrance ticket booth between the two parks at the Disneyland Resort. The new park ticket will need to be of equal or greater value than the original ticket. Note that switching out ticket types like this will mean that any of your existing
theme park reservations will be canceled and you will need to book new reservations from the "
My Theme Park Reservations" page using your new tickets. If you are concerned about
reservation availability, you may wish to reach out to a Cast Member with the
Tickets phone line ahead of time to review options that work for you.
Tony’s Tip: With access to both Disneyland Resort theme parks, there’s a lot of magic in a Park Hopper ticket. Since a Park Hopper ticket is a different ticket type than a One Park Per Day ticket, the whole ticket will need to be swapped out at the time of upgrade, meaning the Park Hopper entitlement would apply to all of the days of the new ticket and can’t be applied to only a portion of the days. For that reason, I recommend making the upgrade as soon as possible so you can take advantage of the park hopping benefits throughout your visit rather than only after the upgrade takes place. When the park I’m visiting happens to be the one that closes earlier in the day, I especially like the option to extend the magic of the day by hopping over to the other park to enjoy a few more attractions while that park remains open.
I hope you have an amazing time visiting the Disneyland Resort, Vickie. Should you have any more questions, I hope you’ll visit us at planDisney again.
