Hi Steven,
Thanks for visiting planDisney! Winter marks the most magical time of year at the Disneyland Resort. The holiday spirit is everywhere, and with Disneyland celebrating its 70th anniversary, I can't wait to see what extra magic they sprinkle into this year’s holiday décor.
The Holidays begin on November 14 across the Disneyland Resort, which means your visit falls just before the official kickoff. While that may sound like a holly jolly bummer, fear not! The holiday transformation will already be well underway. A few of our panelists who recently visited Disneyland have spotted snow on top of Sleeping Beauty Castle, so even if you miss the official start, there will most likely be decorations up throughout the Resort.
I'm also very confident you'll find holiday merchandise in stores, both inside and outside of the parks, during your visit. If you see something you like, don’t hesitate! I remember when Halloween season hit, merchandise was flying off the shelves faster than a ghost! You will likely find a wide variety of items from clothing to home decor.
The Disney Parks Blog recently released a
sneak peek of the holiday season, and I can’t wait to see more of the full collection. I’m especially curious to find out if there will be any limited-edition popcorn buckets or sippers this year! In fact, you can already start shopping for some holiday merchandise on the
Disney Store website, so head over there to start exploring and gearing up for your trip!
I hope this information helps, Steven! If you have any other questions or need help planning, feel free to reach out to me or one of my fellow planDisney panelists. We’d be happy to share more tips to make your visit extra magical.
Wishing you a magical vacation!
